Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood likely to continue to spearhead Pakistan against England in the upcoming series, slated to be happen next month.
Sources divulged on Saturday that there was no chance of replacing Masood as the red-ball skipper. Pakistan red-ball coach Jason Gillespie and the selectors will pick up the final squad for the England series next week. Gillespie will reach Lahore on Monday.
England will arrive to Pakistan for the highly-anticipated Test series on October 2 and will land in Multan.
Both teams will lock horns on October 7 in the first of the three Test series.
Following the wrapping up of the England series, the Pakistan white-ball team is slated to touchdown the Australian shores, where the Green Shirts will lock horns against the Kangaroos in three ODIs and three T20Is between November 4 and 18.
The Pakistan team will leave for South Africa and Zimbabwe follow the Australian tour.
