The Pakistan national cricket team will lock horns against New Zealand tomorrow (Wednesday) in the T20I series dead rubber at the Wellington Regional Stadium.
According to details, the changes were expected in the playing XI. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan were also likely to be rested in the final T20I.
Meanwhile, more fringe players were expected to be given opportunity in the final T20I against the Black Caps ahead of the ODI series.
Expressing his thoughts, Pakistan assistant coach Azhar Mahmood said: “There exists fighting spirit in the team despite defeat in the last T20I.”
“We will have to adapt the conditions in the final T20I,” he said.
Mahmood admitted: “The individual performances are coming, but as the unit the performance is not up to the mark.”
