A grand peace jirga was convened in Bannu, bringing together tribal elders and notables from the region. The gathering unanimously declared their support for the Pakistan Army in its endeavors to maintain peace and eliminate extremist elements.
Participants of the jirga expressed their admiration for the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army and security forces. They collectively pledged to cooperate with authorities in preventing and countering militant activities and disruptive elements in the area.
Major General Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, General Officer Commanding Kohat, attended the jirga as the chief guest. The tribal leaders and notables took the opportunity to commend the Pakistan Army's efforts in promoting education and healthcare in the region, with a particular emphasis on girls' education.
The jirga concluded with a unified commitment to work alongside security forces for the betterment and stability of the area.
