After a brief drop for a day, the gold prices in Pakistan witnessed another significant rise on Tuesday, reaching an all-time high following international market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, taking it up again to a record high of Rs273,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs943, settling at Rs234,053.

This increase comes after gold reached a record high of Rs272,500 per tola on Saturday when prices increased by Rs500.
In the international market also, gold rates jumped up. As per APGJSA, the global rate was recorded at $2,628 per ounce, marking a gain of $11 on the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs2,950 per tola.
