After reaching the highest rate in history, the gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a slight fall on Friday, in line with international market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs300, bringing it down to Rs276,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs256, settling at Rs237,226.

This decrease comes after gold reached a record high of Rs277,700 per tola on Thursday.
In the international market also, gold rates dropped. As per APGJSA, the global rate was recorded at $2,663 per ounce, marking a loss of a minor $2 on the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,050 per tola.
