After record-breaking weeks, the price of gold per tola has been massively decreased by hundreds of rupees across the country, along with the price of local currency gains against the US dollar.
On the other hand, gold per ounce value decreased in the international market by record $5 to $1936.
The price of gold per tola decreased record Rs10500 to reach Rs222,300 in domestic bullion markets of the metropolis Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan and other places.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs9,002 to reach Rs1,90,586.
While, the price of 10-gram of 22-Karat remained unchanged at, Rs174704.
The price of silver 24-karat has also been decreased on Wednesday by Rs100 to reach Rs2,700.
While, the price of 10-gram of 24-Karat of silver per tola also decreased Rs85.73 to reach, Rs2314.81.
The international price of the silver remained unchanged at Rs23.51.
In the open currency market, the US dollar experienced a significant depreciation as its worth went down by Rs10 on Wednesday, leading to its exchange rate reaching Rs312 in the open market. In the interbank market, the American currency saw a minor drop of 12 paisas, and closed the day's trading session at Rs306.98.
The price of the PKR gained massive value against the US dollar after the market gained 'stability' since COAS met business persons of the Lahore and assured the foreign investment will arrive in Pakistan in the span of five years.
