In his statement, the Prime Minister criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing the party of repeatedly resorting to violence under the guise of protests.
He recalled past incidents, including the attack on the government TV building and the breaking of the gate at Parliament House by PTI workers.
The Prime Minister directed authorities to ensure that all individuals involved in the tragic incident are brought to justice, reinforcing the government's commitment to maintaining law and order.
Sadia Javed, the spokesperson for the Sindh government, has requested the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court to take notice of the martyrdom of the policeman. She stated that the officer was martyred due to the "thugs of Anarchy" and emphasized that the ongoing PTI protests are intended to sabotage the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has joined the call for the Chief Justice to take action regarding the martyrdom of the police officer in Islamabad.
