A special evacuation flight carrying more than 70 Pakistanis from Lebanon successfully landed at Jinnah International Karachi Airport at 3 PM Wednesday.
The flight was delayed but safely touched down aboard a foreign airline's Airbus 320. Civil Aviation (CAA) authorities had granted permission for the special flight, and all necessary arrangements were made for the safe return of the Pakistani nationals.
The evacuated individuals were greeted with special provisions arranged by authorities to ensure a smooth process upon their arrival.
Situation in the Middle East
The situation in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon, has grown increasingly dire as the ongoing Israeli offensive in the region escalates. Beirut, a central hub of the conflict, has become a focal point for intense military action, prompting countries around the world to take swift measures to repatriate their citizens from the volatile region.
In the wake of the Israeli onslaught, several nations, including Pakistan, have organized special evacuation flights to ensure the safety of their citizens.
The deteriorating security situation has placed immense pressure on foreign governments to act quickly, as the region faces mounting instability and the threat of further violence.
