Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said on Sunday that the approval of the constitutional amendment draft will be taken today.
Addressing the press conference flanked by Information Minister Atta Tarar in the wee hours in Islamabad, Nazeer Tarar said: “The speaker had constituted the special committee, in which all the political parties within the parliament had participated in the committee.”
He maintained: "The cabinet members will come up with their opinion at 2:30 pm today."
"The cabinet had been informed about the proposals pertaining to the constitutional amendment."
Speaking about JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Nazeer Tarar said: “The proposals given by Maulana Fazlur Rehman had been included in the draft of the constitutional amendment.”
