The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with Special Communications Organization (SCO), has inaugurated a freelancing hub at the Government Girls High School in Mehdiabad, Gilgit-Baltistan. This initiative is part of efforts to enhance digital literacy and create economic opportunities in the region.
School Principal Muhammad Zakir praised the development, stating, "We are grateful to the Pakistan Army and SCO for establishing this excellent center for us." He highlighted that the hub would enable students to learn online business, freelancing, and digital marketing skills.
According to Zakir, the facility will allow students to showcase their projects at national and international levels. He expressed satisfaction that the hub was specifically designed for the school's students, calling it a welcome addition to their educational resources.
The Vice Principal also expressed gratitude towards the Pakistan Army and the Chief of Army Staff for this initiative. Local residents and youth have similarly appreciated the effort, viewing it as a significant step towards digital empowerment in the area.
