According to Indian media reports, Sony TV recently announced CID’s return with a nostalgic teaser featuring Shivaji Satam and Aditya Srivastava.
The teaser opens with a wounded Abhijeet and ACP Pradyuman stepping out of a police van as a ticking bomb echoes in the background, building anticipation.
The official promo will air on October 26 and promise a thrilling reintroduction to this beloved crime series.
Created by B.P. Singh, CID originally aired for over two decades, completing 1,547 episodes before concluding in 2018. With its return, many hope that the show will revisit some unresolved cases from the past seasons, including the famed "Barbosa’s ‘The Eye’" mystery that fans are eager to see resolved.
