Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has put forward seven names to the PTI founder Imran Khan for consideration as the founding members of PTI for inclusion in the upcoming Judicial Commission.
None of the proposed individuals are lawyers; instead, the list comprises four members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and three senators.
The suggested MNAs are Umar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, Ali Mohammad Khan, and Aamir Dogar, while the senators include Shibli Faraz, Mohsen Aziz, and Aun Abbas Bapi. Sources indicate that the Judicial Commission will consist of one opposition member from both the National Assembly and the Senate.
The founder of PTI will review and approve two names from the proposed list, which will subsequently be forwarded to the Speaker for further proceedings.
