The security forces have killed six terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) late Sunday night.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in the Dosali area of North Waziristan district, where security forces successfully targeted a terrorist hideout. This resulted in the death of one operative identified as Ahmed Shah, also known as Intizar.
In a second operation in Khamrang, South Waziristan district, the security forces intercepted a group attempting to infiltrate from Afghanistan. Five terrorists were killed during this operation, while three others sustained injuries.
Pakistan has repeatedly urged the interim Afghan government to enhance border management and prevent the use of Afghan territory for launching terrorist activities against Pakistan.
The military has remained resolute in its commitment to secure borders and eradicating the threat of terrorism.
