Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday foresaw fresh “unrest” in the country following the attack on a friendly nation.
Expressing her thoughts in Taunsa, CM Maryam said, “Yesterday, I saw a video. It is surprising to see how a housewife launched a verbal attack on the friendly nation.”
She berated the political opponents, saying, “Their [political opponents] agenda seems to be quite dangerous. I don’t know why they start to stage the protests whenever Pakistan is on the verge of prosperity.”
Taking a jibe at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, CM Maryam said, “Punjab is being targeted frequently from KP. They [opponents] are looking to again target Punjab.”
CM Maryam stated: “I know very well how to ensure the protection of Punjab.”
“Now a days, the stock market has continued to break records on daily basis,” she said.
CM Maryam said, “The masses who are facing hardships are now taking the sigh of relief as inflation has reduced.”
“The masses are happy, and that is why their [political opponents] calls of staging protests and gatherings are getting wasted.”
She stated, “The country’s enemies were waiting to see Pakistan getting defaulted. Every day the reports were surfaced that Pakistan will get default.”
“It is in the tenure of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), that the country witnesses prosperity and reduction in inflation,” she said.
CM Maryam praised PM Shehbaz, saying, “Shehbaz Sharif is following the vision of Nawaz Sharif for the sake of the masses’ uplift.”
“The price of roti has now reached Rs12 from Rs20 during the PML-N’s tenure,said.
CM Maryam said, “Shebaz Sharif is also reducing the power tariff by making all-out efforts. Even the remittances have always boosted during the tenure of the PML-N-led government.”
– CM Maryam scoffs at PTI on using ‘foul’ language –
Few days back, CM Maryam scoffed at the PTI for using the “foul” language.
Speaking to media in London, CM Maryam said, “It is part of the PTI’s politics to spread unrest. Those who are violating the law will be brought to justice.”
She reacted to the heckling of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif in London, saying, “Only we can condemn what happened with Khawaja Asif.”
CM Maryam has continued to berate the PTI, saying, “The PTI’s objective is to merely stage the protests.”
“The wrongdoings will lead to the arrests as well,” she said.
