Pakistan's total liquid foreign reserves amounted to $13,126.7 million as of September 1, 2023, with the central bank holding reserves worth $7,779.3 million.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported a decrease of $70 million in its reserves due to debt repayments during the mentioned week.
Additionally, commercial banks in Pakistan held net foreign reserves of $5,347.4 million during the same period. In the preceding week, ending on August 25, 2023, the country's total liquid foreign reserves stood at $13,171.1 million.
Among these, the central bank's reserves amounted to $7,849.3 million, while commercial banks held net foreign reserves of $5,321.8 million.
