The price of gold in Pakistan saw a massive hike on Monday, reflecting global market trends, crossing the dreaded Rs300,000 mark once again.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs4,000, settling at the highest ever Rs303,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold surged by Rs3,429, taking it to Rs259,773.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a hike of a massive $42 on Monday, reaching $2,903 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also rose by Rs43, reaching Rs3,373 per tola.
