Pakistan and Belarus have reached a notable agreement to register Belarusian veterinary medicines in Pakistan, marking a new chapter in healthcare cooperation between the two nations. The development came during the eighth joint ministerial commission meeting between the two countries.
Officials from both nations are also finalizing a memorandum of understanding on labor migration, expected to be signed in the near future. The commission meeting focused on expanding collaboration across multiple sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, and technology.
According to the Economic Affairs spokesperson, commercial banks from both countries will provide support to businesses and traders, facilitating smoother economic transactions. The two nations have also committed to enhancing cooperation in science and technology sectors.
In the healthcare domain, both countries will initiate joint training programs. Agricultural cooperation is set to receive a boost, with both sides agreeing to strengthen existing partnerships in the farming sector.
The Pakistani delegation held meetings with Belarus's Minister for Energy, Minister for Agriculture, and Deputy Foreign Minister during the visit. The spokesperson also announced plans to resume cooperation between Pakistan Television (PTV) and Belarus's state television network.
