The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Wednesday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,600, settling at the highest ever Rs301,500, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,372, taking it to Rs258,487.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a decline of $16 on Wednesday, reaching $2,888 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market remained stable at reaching Rs3,312 per tola.
