New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to a right foot injury.
Following Ferguson’s injury setback, the ICC Technical Committee has approved Kyle Jamieson as his replacement in New Zealand’s squad for the tournament.
The injury comes as a major blow to the Black Caps, as Ferguson has been a key player in their pace attack. Meanwhile, Jamieson, known for his height and pace, will now step in to strengthen the squad.
