Following the tragic boat accidents in Libya and Greece that resulted in the deaths of multiple Pakistanis, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified security measures at airports on the directives of the prime minister.
According to officials, profiling has begun for young men from specific cities in Punjab, particularly Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, and Gujranwala.
For the first time, individuals who fail to provide a valid justification for their visit visas or travel plans will be offloaded. Moreover, those suspected of disappearing upon reaching a foreign country or illegally entering Europe will also face offloading.
Authorities state that this measure is aimed at curbing human trafficking and preventing illegal migration attempts.
