Netflix, one of the world's leading streaming services, has revealed a series of price increases for subscribers in the US, UK, and France.
The adjustments, which take effect immediately, are part of the company's ongoing strategy to maintain its competitive edge and invest in high-quality content.
Netflix's Co-CEO Greg Peters emphasised the company's dedication to delivering better content as it periodically adjusts prices.
The recent changes come as Netflix continues to ramp up its monetisation efforts on the platform, which include the introduction of its advertising tier and a stringent password-sharing crackdown.
According to Peters, Netflix expects to continue acquiring more subscribers over the next several quarters.
While some viewers may cancel their subscriptions temporarily, Netflix is poised to target "hundreds of millions of qualified households" with enticing content and value offerings, aiming to win them over in the coming years.
