The Islamabad High Court and Session Courts have announced revised judicial timings for the holy month of Ramzan. A notification has been issued by the Deputy Registrar with the approval of the Acting Chief Justice, detailing the new court hours.
According to the notification, hearings at the Islamabad High Court will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM during Ramzan. From Monday to Thursday, there will be a 30-minute break after single-bench hearings, while division benches will hear cases from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. On Fridays, hearings will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and no hearings will take place on Saturdays, though judges will continue drafting judgments.
The notification also outlines the schedule for District and Session Courts. These courts will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Saturday, while on Fridays, the working hours will be from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The adjustment in judicial timings aims to facilitate judges, lawyers, and litigants, ensuring smooth court proceedings during the holy month.
