The price of gold in Pakistan continued to decrease on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs2,500, settling at the highest ever Rs300,500, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,143, taking it to Rs257,639.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $24 on Friday, reaching $2,863 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also reduced by Rs64 to settle at Rs3,250 per tola.
