The ongoing tariff war between the US and China on a global scale has left investors in a state of uncertainty, as a result of which gold prices have reached a new high in history.
On Thursday, the cost of 24-karat gold increased to its highest ever in history, Rs328,800 per tola, after seeing a price rise of a massive Rs7,800.

Dealers reported a similar hike in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which has gone up by Rs6,688 to now trade at Rs281,893. Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also reported a rise to trade at Rs258,411.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola is currently standing at Rs3,234 after an increase of Rs64. Internationally also, the gold price saw a rise of $78, reaching $3,118 per ounce.
