The price of gold in Pakistan continued to decrease on Saturday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs500, settling at the highest ever Rs300,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs438, taking it to Rs257,201.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $6 on Saturday, reaching $2,857 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also reduced by Rs10 to settle at Rs3,240 per tola.
