Holi, one of India's most cherished festivals, witnessed a surge in digital celebrations this year as WhatsApp users discovered an innovative way to send personalised Holi wishes.
In line with the festival’s vibrant traditions, which have been celebrated for centuries and are deeply rooted in mythology, people had embraced the modern trend of using digital stickers to wish their loved ones a joyous Holi.
The process of creating and sending these custom stickers was simple and quick. Users opened WhatsApp on their phones and tapped on the Meta AI icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Once the chat opened, a prompt related to Holi was typed, such as ‘Happy Holi sticker’ or ‘kids playing Holi’. This generated a selection of new stickers and images.
Following that, users could choose their favourite sticker, download it, and send it to family and friends, allowing them to celebrate the festival in a unique and personalised way. Through this feature, the joy of Holi was shared digitally, continuing the tradition of spreading happiness during the festival.
