Apple is gearing up to unveil iOS 19, and early reports suggest that it will be one of the most significant updates in the company's history.
Expected to be revealed at WWDC 2025 in June, the update will reportedly bring a dramatic design overhaul and an AI-enhanced Siri, making iPhones smarter than ever.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iOS 19 will feature a complete redesign, introducing new icons, menus, system buttons, and window elements. The update is rumoured to take inspiration from visionOS, Apple’s operating system for the Vision Pro headset.
Additionally, the Camera app is expected to get a revamp, offering more screen space for previews and swipe-friendly translucent menus for easier mode selection.
Apple is set to give Siri a generative AI boost, allowing it to better understand on-screen content, personal preferences, and deeper app integrations. While Siri has lagged behind competitors like ChatGPT, Apple’s new large language model (LLM) is expected to close the gap. However, some advanced AI features might be reserved for the latest iPhone models.

Apple typically unveils its latest iOS version at WWDC in June, followed by a beta release, and then the final rollout in September alongside the new iPhone 16 series.
