Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Siraj ul Haq paid on Sunday a visit to the homes of the Turbat incident victims, conveying his condolences and expressing solidarity with their families.
On this occasion, Haq said: "I am here to provide solace and support during times of sorrow, affirmed Siraj ul Haq".
He questioned: "What sort of nation do we inhabit, where people venture out from their homes in search of an honest living only to have their lifeless bodies discovered in such tragic circumstances? What is the government's response?"
Haq stated: "These impoverished individuals travelled to Baluchistan. What transgressions could they possibly have committed?"

My primary motive in coming here is to question the delay in apprehending the culprits. I inquired about the measures taken by the government, Haq stated.
Haq was of the view that a nation can progress despite differing beliefs, but it cannot advance when injustice prevails.
The JI chief asserted that his party will raise its voice on every platform.
He took a dig at the government, saying, "Despite receiving salaries, those in power are failing to deliver justice fairly".
"I extend my condolences to the families of the martyrs and assure them that the JI will ensure their children's sacrifices are not in vain," Haq added.
