Gold prices surged once again, reaching new historic heights in both global and local markets.
The cost of gold in Pakistan saw a dramatic rise, with the price of one tola of gold increasing by Rs3,200, reaching a staggering Rs321,000. The price for 10 grams of gold also saw a significant jump, climbing by Rs2,743 to settle at Rs275,205.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, this surge in prices followed a similar trend in international markets. The price of gold in the global market climbed by $31 per ounce, reaching an unprecedented level of $3,052 per ounce.
Gold market experts attributed the soaring prices to various global economic factors, further fuelling concerns among investors and consumers alike.
