The purported intent behind this leak was to hinder the release of former prime minister Imran Khan and to prolong political unrest in the country. Furthermore, allegations have surfaced accusing Tanweer Ahmed of engaging with the DG ISI solely for personal business interests, despite his established record of philanthropy and non-commercial involvement in Pakistan.โ
Tanweer Ahmed has a record of unwavering commitment to Pakistan's welfare, citing his numerous charitable initiatives. Notably, Ahmed donated a 50 lakh cheque to the family of Sadaf Naeem, a private TV channel reporter who tragically lost her life during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azadi March in 2022.
His philanthropic efforts extend to donating $9 million to a university for scholarships benefiting approximately 200 underprivileged students annually, the construction of a girls' college, and the establishment of a dialysis centre in his native village in Sialkot.
