President Asif Ali Zardari contracted the coronavirus, as confirmed by the personal doctor, Asim Hussain.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, Dr Hussain, while informing about the health condition of the president, said: "He [President Zardari] has contracted the coronavirus, and right now, it has been advised to keep the president in isolation."

"A team of medical experts is taking care of President Zardari, and now his health condition is improving," maintained Dr Hussain.

Earlier, it was reported that Zardari’s health is showing signs of improvement, and he is expected to be discharged from a private hospital soon, according to hospital sources.

The president was admitted to the hospital early on Tuesday after experiencing fever and an infection.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari visited the hospital to check on her father’s condition and met with the medical team to get updates on his health.
Sources confirmed that the doctors have reassured her about his steady recovery.
