In an unusual weather event, snowfall was recorded in the upper areas of Kalam Valley, including Palogah, Glacier, and Mahodand, despite April being a warm month. The light snowfall has further enhanced the scenic beauty of the region, attracting a large number of tourists.
The unexpected snowfall has also intensified the cold, making the weather even chillier. Meanwhile, rain in some areas has led to incidents of landslides.
According to the Upper Swat Development Authority (USDA) spokesperson, over 200,000 tourists visited Swat during the Eid holidays, with many now flocking to witness the mesmerizing snowfall.
