Pakistan Meteorological Department has given a detailed rainfall prediction for numerous locations throughout the nation, with northern parts predicted to get heavy rain in the coming days.
According to the official statement, Islamabad and the surrounding regions will see partly overcast skies, with showers and probable hailstorms expected in some spots. Residents of the capital territory could expect various weather patterns throughout the week.
The prediction covers many districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, and Bajaur. The agency also forecasts precipitation in the Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, and Kohat areas.
"Several districts in central and northern Pakistan are likely to experience rainfall systems moving across the region," a meteorological department spokeswoman said.
Haripur, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Swabi are all part of the rainfall belt, which also includes Kohat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan. These places could expect varied levels of precipitation during the predicted timeframe.
Punjab will also see heavy rains, with Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum all expected. Talagang, Mianwali, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, and Mandi Bahauddin are all expecting more rain.
The weather system will also strike Sargodha, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad, providing much-needed precipitation to these agricultural areas.
Meanwhile, most districts in Sindh province will be hot and dry, with the exception of Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dadu, and Kashmore, which will get some rain.
Similarly, Balochistan will stay generally hot and dry, while Lasbela, Washuk, and Khuzdar districts may get precipitation, according to the department's forecast.
Residents in rainy areas should take measures, according to weather experts, especially in places prone to flash floods or urban drainage concerns.
