Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the global superstar, has reportedly said NO to a much-discussed role in director Atlee's next big project, which stars Allu Arjun.
Despite earlier rumours suggesting that Priyanka was being considered for the female lead opposite Allu Arjun, an Indian media outlet has now confirmed that she was indeed offered the role but decided to turn it down.
The reasons for her decision remain unclear, but sources indicate that Priyanka wasn't particularly drawn to the project and felt that things didn’t align creatively. Instead, she chose to focus on her ongoing project with director SS Rajamouli, which she stars opposite Mahesh Babu in the highly anticipated film SSMB 29.
With Priyanka Chopra out of the picture, fans and industry insiders are now eagerly speculating who will step into the female lead role in Atlee's action-packed entertainer. The film, which promises to be an intense, high-energy spectacle, is expected to bring Allu Arjun’s charismatic screen presence to new heights, and the choice of the leading lady will be crucial to the film's appeal.
Priyanka’s busy schedule
On the personal front, Priyanka was recently seen in New York City, where she attended the opening night of her husband Nick Jonas’s musical, The Last Five Years. Meanwhile, Priyanka continues to balance her professional commitments, shuttling between India and the U.S. as she juggles filming for SSMB 29.
