The federal government vowed on Saturday not to show leniency towards those who attacked the foreign food chain.
Speaking to media in Faisalabad, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said: "The food chain has invested billions of rupees. Over 25,000 Pakistanis are employed by the food chain."
He underlined the importance of investment in the country.
Fifteen people from Islamabad and 142 from Punjab were arrested.
"Twelve cases were registered, leading to the arrest of 124 people. 15 attackers had been named in Islamabad," said Chaudhry.
He said: "It is a good thing that despite the events that transpired, this food chain is operational."
