Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is preparing to launch its new service connecting Lahore to Baku, Azerbaijan, with a special road show aimed at engaging travel agents, tour operators, and stakeholders from the tourism industry.
The road show, held ahead of the inaugural flight, offered an opportunity to inform and excite the industry about the airline's upcoming route to the city of Baku, often referred to as the "Europe of Asia."
PIA will begin operating two weekly flights from Lahore to Baku, starting Sunday, April 20. This new route aims to meet the growing demand for travel to Azerbaijan’s capital, a city known for its blend of modernity and rich cultural heritage.

Baku is quickly becoming one of the top tourist destinations in the world, thanks to its beautiful and developed infrastructure, delicious cuisine, and numerous religious and cultural landmarks.
The airline’s spokesperson briefed attendees at the road show about the opportunities this new route would bring to Lahore, including enhanced tourism and increased travel options for Pakistani passengers. PIA's first flight to Baku will depart on April 20, carrying 174 passengers, marking a significant milestone for the national carrier.
