Paris Saint-Germain took another step towards an unbeaten Ligue 1 campaign after defeating relegation-threatened Le Havre 2–1 at the Parc des Princes.
Coach Luis Enrique, who led PSG into the Champions League semi-finals earlier in the week, rotated nearly his entire line-up following their narrow 3–2 loss to Aston Villa. Only Achraf Hakimi and Bradley Barcola retained their places in the starting eleven.
Desire Doue opened the scoring within eight minutes, while Goncalo Ramos doubled the lead shortly after the interval. Ramos capitalised on his inclusion in the starting side and delivered a composed finish.
Le Havre responded through Issa Soumare, who reduced the deficit, but the result left the Normandy-based side in the relegation play-off zone.
PSG had already clinched a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title ahead of the fixture. The victory marked their tenth straight league win and took them to 77 points with five matches left to play.
No team had completed a French top-flight season unbeaten, and PSG’s pursuit of history remained intact.
Saturday's other Ligue 1 fixtures included second-placed Monaco hosting sixth-placed Strasbourg, while third-placed Marseille welcomed relegated Montpellier.
