Khalistan movement leader and founder of Sikhs for Justice, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has alleged that the recent deadly attack in Pahalgam, Indian-occupied Kashmir, was a false flag operation orchestrated by India’s intelligence agency RAW.
In a video message, Pannun claimed the operation was planned under the supervision of India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, with full backing from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
He asserted that the attack benefited the Indian government, not the Kashmiri freedom movement, suggesting it was timed to coincide with the visit of U.S. Senator J.D. Vance as part of a pre-planned agenda. Pannun called on the United Nations Security Council to push for a plebiscite in Kashmir.
The attack took place at a tourist resort in Pahalgam, where unidentified gunmen opened fire indiscriminately, killing at least 26 people, including two foreign tourists. According to Indian media reports, four armed men emerged from a nearby forest, carried out the attack, and fled back into the woods.
