Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said on Sunday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was controlling everything, including the Indian media.
Expressing his thoughts on the Samaa TV programme 'Zor Ka Jor,' Afridi said: "Indian players were forced to speak against Pakistan. There remains pressure on the Indian players to make statements against Pakistan."
"Indian players have told themselves that there remains pressure on them [Indian players] to speak against Pakistan," Afridi said.
Lavishing praise on the Pakistan Army, Afridi said: "We are proud of the Pakistan Army. It is due to the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army that we are sitting in peace."
Meanwhile, the Pakistan squash legend, Jahangir Khan, while expressing his thoughts on "Zor Ka Jor," said: "Sport should be kept separate from politics."
"Sport is the symbol of peace," he said.
