Quetta Gladiators powered to a 64-run crushing victory over Peshawar Zalmi in the 17th match of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday.
PESHAWAR ZALMI'S INNINGS
Chasing a 179-run target, the Zalmi were bundled out for 114 inside 16 overs. None of the Zalmi batters could show significant resistance with the bat, with the exception of Hussain Talat, who scored a 34-ball 39.
For the Gladiators (5-33), Faheem Ashraf spearheaded the bowling attack and picked up five wickets.
Khurram Shahzad (2-9) took two wickets.
Mohammad Amir (1-18), Mohammad Wasim (1-21) and Abrar Ahmed (1-30) took one wicket each.
QUETTA GLADIATORS' INNINGS
Earlier, after being put into bat, the Gladiators posted 178/7 in 20 overs with Mark Chapman (33), Kusal Mendis (32), and Saud Shakeel (31) showing resistance with the bat.
For the Zalmi, Alzarri Joseph (3-33) bagged three wickets.
Saim Ayub (2-24) took two wickets.
Luke Wood (1-35) took a wicket.
Ali Raza (0-48) and Sufiyan Muqeem (0-33) remained wicketless.

The Zalmi had elected to bowl first against Quetta Gladiators in the 17th match of the domestic premium tournament.
According to details, Zalmi captain Babar Azam will look to utilise opportunity to play in front of the Lahore crowd as many of the fans are supporting him.
