Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Tuesday brought JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on board regarding the National Security Committee's (NSC) decisions.
According to details, Naqvi held separate meetings with Rehman and Naeem after India committed atrocities following the Pahalgam attack. Naqvi took both leaders into confidence in line with Pakistan's principal stance on India's unilateral position.
Rehman had declared Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi an enemy, saying, "Modi stands with the opponents of Muslims and Islam."
Meanwhile, Hafiz Naeem strongly supported the principal stance of Pakistan. The JI emir described the Indian actions as irrational.
During his meetings with the chiefs of both JUI-F and JI separately, Naqvi said: "India is trying to play with fire. Pakistan will give a befitting response to India for any of its misadventures. The entire nation is on the same page in this regard."
