Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said on Wednesday that many Indians across the globe had expressed their discontent with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While appearing on the Samaa TV programme "Zor Ka Jor", the former captain stated: "We want to live with love and affection. Bullying will not work." He added: "We have been in a state of war for a long time."
Afridi said: "Pakistan’s armed forces possessed such high levels of training that the Indian military will fail to stand against them in any confrontation.
The former cricketer said: "We meet Indians all over the world, and everyone says the same thing — they are fed up with Modi."
Sharing a recent incident at the Wagah border, Afridi said: "Yesterday, at the Wagah border, an Indian soldier recorded a video of me on his mobile phone. When I waved at him, he waved back."
