Seven people were killed in two separate shooting incidents in Lahore.
In the first incident, a young man was killed in a minor verbal dispute in the Kahana area of Lahore.
According to police, the victim Jahan Abdullah was returning from a birthday party with his friend Sibtain when they got into an argument.
Sibtain then opened fire on Abdullah, killing him on the spot.
Police have detained Sibtain and are investigating the motive for the shooting.
In the second incident, five people were killed in a firing over a property dispute in the Chung area of Lahore.
The police said the victims were all close relatives of the suspects Mubashir and Ghulam Sabir.
Police have arrested Ghulam Sabir and are on the lookout for Mubashir.
They have also identified two other suspects who are believed to have been involved in the shooting.
Both shooting incidents have shocked the residents of Lahore and raised concerns about the law and order situation in the city.
