Pakistani authorities have foiled a plot by anti-national forces to sabotage the return of Afghan nationals to their homeland, according to sources.
Under the nefarious plan, anti-national elements were planning to incite Afghans in established camps or during their movement, and produce images and videos showing security personnel forcefully manhandling Afghans, especially women and children.
These images and videos would then be used for propaganda purposes against Pakistan.
The sources also revealed that a meeting was held in Spin Boldak area of Afghanistan where a plan was devised to spread chaos through violent protests in Chaman and Spin Boldak areas on this issue.
The plan also included firing upon Afghans at the crossing points on the Pakistani side in order to spread chaos immediately.
The aim of this nefarious and despicable plan was to increase tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan by creating chaos and sabotaging the peaceful evacuation of Afghans.
However, Pakistani authorities have taken timely action to foil the plot and ensure the safe and peaceful return of Afghan nationals to their homeland.
The Pakistani government has been working tirelessly to facilitate the return of Afghan nationals, and more than 126,000 Afghans have returned to Afghanistan without any untoward incident.
The government has also made arrangements for the food, shelter, and medical care of Afghan nationals at established camps.
