In the ongoing crackdown on hoarders, the caretaker government, security forces and military leadership have decided to take strict measures in view of the country's integrity and economic recovery.
On the government’s orders, a countrywide operation against hoarders had been launched in September.
According to the data from October 29 to November 5, large quantities of fertilizer, flour and sugar were recovered from across the country.
During the operation, 6,599 metric tons of fertilizer were recovered from across the country. The institutions concerned recovered 2,367 metric tons of flour from across the country during the crackdown. Moreover, 6,996 metric tons of sugar was also recovered from various parts of the country.
The caretaker government and the military leadership have decided to continue such actions until complete economic stability in the country.
