Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocese Rev. Nadeem Kamran said in light of the tragic and devastating conflict between Israel and Palestine, he extended his prayers to all those affected, especially the innocent children whose lives have been tragically cut short.
“It is with a heavy heart that I express my sincerest hope for an end to this ongoing strife and violence. Let us join together in unity, standing as a collective voice for peace, understanding, and reconciliation between these nations. May our shared humanity serve as a guiding force towards a future devoid of hostility and animosity, where peaceful coexistence is possible for all,” he said.
Over 10,000 Palestinians and 1,400 Israelis were killed in an ongoing conflict that entered its second month.
Air strikes on the Gaza Strip killed a top Hamas weapons maker and several fighters, the Israeli military said on Wednesday, as its air and ground offensive targeted the militants' vast tunnel network beneath the besieged Palestinian enclave.
Gaza City, the Hamas militant group's main stronghold in the territory, is encircled by Israeli forces. The military said troops have advanced to the heart of the densely-populated city while Hamas says its fighters have inflicted heavy losses.
