Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Murtaza Wahab on Thursday launched a fresh salvo at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Wahab said: “The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is taking credit for our [PPP] projects. Asif Ali Zardari is the mastermind of the CPEC.’’
He alleged, “PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had not allocated the money in the budget for Karachi".
‘’Let the people pick up leaders on the basis of performance,’’ Wahab said.

– Bilawal vows to address masses' problems –
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday vowed to address the masses’ problems.
Addressing the workers’ convention in Abbottabad, Bhutto-Zardari said, ‘’The PPP has started its visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I would like to express my gratitude to the elders, brothers, and sisters for coming in large numbers.’’
He took a swipe at the political opponents, saying the parties were indulged in old politics. The PPP cannot compete with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Our concern is to address the problems faced by the people in line with poverty, unemployment, and inflation.
Recalling the past contributions made by his party, Bhutto-Zardari said: ‘’Everybody is familiar with the way Asif Ali Zardari delivered between 2008 and 2013. The PPP had introduced the 18th Amendment and the NFC Award. These are the achievements of the PPP that made us proud.’’
