Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Shazia Marri said on Wednesday that her party had accepted the 2013 poll results for the sake of the country despite "reservations".
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Marri launched a fresh salvo at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying, “It would be unfair if anybody comes into power through unconstitutional means instead of following the democratic system”.
She was of the view that no one should be subjected to the political vendettas.
Marri took a swipe at the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), saying, “The JI is still feeling the heat of its previous defeat.”
