Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus later this month, featuring a custom MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a Samsung ISOCELL camera sensor tailored to its specifications.
Xiaomi has initiated teasers for the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series, following a string of comprehensive leaks.
To provide a recap, over the past few weeks, the 3C and MIIT regulatory bodies have disclosed various specifics about the 2312DRA50C and 23090RA98C.
According to the information shared by both regulatory entities, it is indicated that the 2312DRA50C corresponds to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the 23090RA98C is designated as the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.
Although Xiaomi will exclusively market these models in China, their international counterparts are expected to share nearly identical hardware components.
Evidently, the Redmi Note 13 series will commence with the introduction of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.
Xiaomi has officially confirmed that this variant will rely on a novel MediaTek chipset and a custom-designed Samsung ISOCELL camera sensor.
Precisely, Xiaomi has opted for the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra and the ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition, implying that these components have been meticulously developed in synergy to enhance image quality.
If we draw a parallel with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra, which powers the Xiaomi 12T, there will likely be minimal distinctions between the Dimensity 7200 Ultra and its standard counterpart.
To provide context, MediaTek has based the latter on the advanced 4 nm TSMC nodes, incorporating a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, alongside ARM Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A510 CPU cores.
Similarly, it appears that the ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition retains the fundamental characteristics of the ISOCELL HP3, as utilized in the Honor 90, Honor 90 Pro, and Realme 11 Pro Plus.
Consequently, the ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition boasts a native output of 200 MP, featuring a 1/1.4-inch optical format, an f/1.65 aperture, and 0.56 μm-wide pixels prior to pixel binning.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed an official release date for the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Instead, they have hinted at the likelihood of its debut in China towards the end of the current month.
