The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) bigwigs on Sunday exchanged views on the party’s election campaign.
IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan chaired the party’s consultative meeting at IPP leader Rana Nazir’s residence in Kamonke.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Awn Chaudhry and Murad Raas.
– IPP will address masses’ problems, says Firdous Ashiq Awan –
IPP Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday that her party will address the masses’ problems.
Addressing a press conference in Kamonki, Awan said: “The country has yet to fulfil the dream of Allama Iqbal. We will work for the sake of uplifting meritocracy.”
She launched a fresh salvo at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “The PTI had harmed itself to lead towards political suicide. The youngsters were incited during the events that transpired on May 9.”
Firdous said: “The PTI did not fulfil the expectations of the masses during its tenure. The PTI had left the state and the masses at loggerheads.”
She said, “The IPP has looked to change the country’s infrastructure under the leadership of IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan.”
